Camellia ‘Red Red Rose’ is an evergreen, narrow, upright shrub to small tree with glossy, oval-shaped, dark green foliage. New growth is red. Bright red formal double flowers are produced in Winter to Spring. This plant is slow growing.

Suggested Uses

Excellent feature plant for garden beds, to add colour. Also ideal for container planting. Flowers and leaves can be used in cut flower arrangements.


Grows and flowers best in a partly shaded position in good quality, well-drained soil. Will tolerate heat and humid conditions.


Water well until established and mulch well to retain moisture. Water well in dry weather. Prune to shape as required.
